Mary Ruth’s Daily Multivitamin & Multimineral Honest Review

Mary Ruth's Liquid Multivitamin Honest Review - Florida Grown Adventure

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not particularly health-minded. My husband, on the other hand, is the complete opposite. He works out every day, has perfect macros, drinks green juice in the morning, and always makes sure he gets all of his vitamins. Show off… Just kidding. This year, like every year, I’m working hard on being the better version of myself. The first thing I knew I needed to get a handle on was my vitamin intake. Introducing Mary Ruth’s Organics.

I purchased four things from this brand to try but today I’m only going to be talking about the Mary Ruth’s Organics Liquid Daily Multivitamin Essentials+ and the Mary Ruth’s Organics Liquid Nighttime Multimineral. I’m going to discuss what I liked and disliked about this vitamin combo. This is a completely unsponsored post and I purchased these items with my own hard-earned cash!

Pros.

  1. I love the fact that Mary Ruth’s multivitamin is liquid. I cannot swallow pill vitamins at all. The last time I tried to throw back a large pill it made me literally vomit. The liquid format of these vitamins is not only easy to consume but there is a lot of information out there about how much easier it is for the body to digest and absorb the nutrients in a liquid vitamin.
  2. Another pro for the liquid format is the fact that it is multipurpose for adults, youth, and children. You could easily buy this single product for your entire family and be secure in knowing that everyone is well taken care of.
  3. Mary Ruth’s Multimineral Pineapple Dream flavor is superb. This is obviously just a preference but I could not get enough of this flavor. It has a pina colada essence about it.
  4. The non-GMO and organic ingredients were one of the main things that drew me to this brand. I’ve talked in some of my youtube videos about why I shop organic and how important it is for our health and environment.
  5. Another pro for this vitamin, even though it doesn’t affect me, is the fact that this vitamin is vegan and free of many main allergins. Both of these products are dairy, gluten, and soy-free!
  6. Taking these vitamins has truly made me feel great. I have so much more energy, improved sleep, and have noticed an improvement in my skin which is usually very dry.
  7. The elderberry powder that is in the essentials+ variety was a big draw to me. Elderberry has a lot of immunity-boosting benefits and is a good precautionary measure during cold and flu season, and our now coronavirus pandemic.
  8. The packaging is clean and simple. I’m a sucker for pretty packaging.

Cons.

  1. The price is slightly higher than other market liquid vitamins and is over double the price if you decide to buy both each month. From Amazon, Mary Ruth’s Multivitamin is $44.95 which is $1.40 a serving/ounce and the Multimineral is $39.95 which comes out to $1.25 a serving/ounce. You can, of course, just get the multivitamin and even though it’s on the higher end of the price scale, still falls into the general pricing of the liquid multivitamins that I have come across which is roughly $25-$50.
  2. Mary Ruth’s Multivitamin Strawberry flavor is a huge con for my taste preferences. It tastes identical to Kellog’s Strawberry Poptarts. For some of you reading, you might completely enjoy this flavor but as it is my least favorite Poptart flavor, the consumption was a struggle.
  3. Having to store these vitamins in the fridge was very inconvenient for me. Both my husband and I meal prep our lunches for work and these bottles are very bulky which got in the way often.
  4. The packaging is also a large con for me because it is all plastic. It’s BPA-free which is the plus side of the plastic and it can be recycled which is good but as I am trying to get away from plastic, this is kind of completely the opposite of what I want. That being said, they do carry one of their multivitamins in a glass jar which I did not see until after I purchased.

Final Thoughts on Mary Ruth’s.

Overall, I have to say that I did really enjoy taking these vitamins. I feel like the benefits outweigh the cons that I have observed. I’m going to be testing out some other vitamins in the future (I like variety) but would wholely recommend this brand to anyone on the hunt for good vitamins.
